Ujamaa Initiative for Black Entrepreneurship

Mission: Promote entrepreneurship to the English Speaking Black Community and provide support, information and training in entrepreneurship to potential and existing entrepreneurs of all ages.

Objectives:
- Sensitize the Community to entrepreneurship through the creation of promotional materials outlining the existing services available to entrepreneurs.
- Provide programs and services to stimulate entrepreneurial development.
- Develop role models within the Black Community Promote entrepreneurship to Young people.
- Encourage government service organizations to provide English language services and make available materials in English


Through this partnership potential and existing entrepreneurs can have access to the following programs and services:

Workshops,
One on one counselling,
Accounting and legal information,
Grants and loans information,
Referrals,
Networking opportunities,
And special events.
